Wildlife Film Update
I have 2 short films planned. Film 1 is about the Dove nesting on my window ledge. Guess what! After the chicks left the nest, another dove came and laid two eggs! Two zebra doves nesting on my window ledge in a row! Film 2 is still an idea and has not been properly planned yet. I will blog more about that in the future. Both films should be done by September.

Wildlife Update
I'm still here, I've just been very busy. I'm currently planning and filming for my new short film coming out next month. The eggs in the nest on my window ledge have hatched and now are 2 days old. Unfortunately they hatched probably whiles I was at school so I didn't get film that. But the best is yet to come. I hope.=D Oh..Yeah..I almost forgot. I borrowed a Canon XHA1 from a friend. It is so cool. I will use it for filming until August when I need to give it back!

Filming Update
The Eurasian Tree Sparrow film is 1/3 done!!!
But! I have had to put this project on hold.....because a NEW PROJECT HAS COME!!
A Barred Ground Dove is nesting right outside my window!! The easiest thing to film!
I'm thinking of making a short film about that. Both projects will be finished in August.
Here is some footage of the bird nesting on my window ledge:
The footage was filmed with a Canon Ixus. The small lens just peeped through the curtain without disturbing the bird.

Busy, busy, busy!
I have been very bust making a 5 minute film for a film competition.
The hardest part is that half of the film is done using STOP MOTION! 1 hours work is like 5 seconds of film!!!!
As soon as it's done, I will post it!
BTW, a new glidetrack test will be done soon.

It only cost me RM18!

Its still not very smooth, but I will try greasing it and see what happens!

DIY image stabilizer!
Today, I made my own IMAGE STABILIZER!
Things I used:
a bolt, a nut and some string.

How it fits into the camera hole thingy!

It's a fraction of the cost you would pay to get a lens with a built-in image stabilizer.
Following some tips from youtube, this is what happened.
It's simple. You step on the end piece(the nut) and pull the camera up (making it a little bit steadier).
As long as you keep pressure pulling up the camera, it shouldn't shake or move.
Here is some photos! I'll upload some test footage tomorrow!

Today, I woke up at Sunrise
Today, I woke up at 6 a.m!
I sat in my hide with a Nikon D5000 waiting for some birds to come.
I lured them with some bread crumbs and a pear. Not much happened, but I did get a few shots!
